Ingredients
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 onion, diced
4 cloves of garlic, minced
2 teaspoons of ground cumin
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
1 teaspoon of chili flakes
1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 cup of vegetable broth
1 bunch of kale, stems removed and roughly chopped
1/4 cup of cilantro, finely chopped

Directions
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the onion and garlic, and sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until the onion is translucent.
Add the cumin, smoked paprika, chili flakes, and chickpeas, and stir to combine.
Add the vegetable broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the kale, cilantro, and lime zest and juice, and stir to combine.
Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, or until the kale is wilted and the flavors are combined.
Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
