In a large oven-safe pot, heat the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce and bring to a simmer.
Add the beef to the pot and season with salt and pepper. Cover the pot and transfer to the preheated oven. Bake for 1 hour, or until the beef is tender.
Remove the pot from the oven and transfer the beef to a cutting board. Slice the beef into thin strips.
