Ingredients
- 1 cup of button mushrooms
- 1 cup of shiitake mushrooms
- 1 cup of portobello mushrooms
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 4 cups of vegetable broth
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until they are soft, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the flour and cook for a few minutes more.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the cream, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
