Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Whisk in the flour and cook until golden, about 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in the milk and continue to whisk until the mixture is thick and bubbly. Remove from the heat.
Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
In a large bowl, combine the sauerkraut, corned beef, and Swiss cheese.
Pour in the sauce and mix until everything is combined.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle the bread crumbs evenly over the top of the casserole.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

The traditional Reuben sandwich consists of corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing on rye bread.
