Ingredients

  • 2 cups of diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of gelatin powder

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the diced tomatoes, water, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, black pepper, salt, and sugar.
  2. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in the olive oil and gelatin powder.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch glass pie plate or other shallow dish.
  5. Cover and refrigerate until firm, about 3-4 hours.
  6. Cut into wedges and serve chilled.
