Ingredients
- 4 Tilapia fillets
- 1 can of stewed tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 1 teaspoon of basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the stewed tomatoes and spices and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the Tilapia fillets to the tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
- Serve hot with a side of steamed vegetables or a salad.
