Ingredients
- 3 slices of bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can of diced tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can of green beans, drained
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 cup of chicken broth
Directions
- Set the pressure cooker to the “Brown” setting. Add the bacon to the cooker and cook until crisp, about 5 minutes. Remove the bacon from the cooker and set aside.
- Add the onion to the cooker and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add the diced tomatoes, green beans, salt, pepper, and chicken broth to the cooker. Stir to combine.
- Secure the lid on the cooker and set the pressure release valve to “sealing”. Select the “Manual” or “Pressure Cook” setting and set the cook time to 5 minutes.
- When the cook time is complete, allow the pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
- Stir in the cooked bacon and serve.
