Ingredients

  • 3 slices of bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can of green beans, drained
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 cup of chicken broth

Directions

  1. Set the pressure cooker to the “Brown” setting. Add the bacon to the cooker and cook until crisp, about 5 minutes. Remove the bacon from the cooker and set aside.
  2. Add the onion to the cooker and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes, green beans, salt, pepper, and chicken broth to the cooker. Stir to combine.
  4. Secure the lid on the cooker and set the pressure release valve to “sealing”. Select the “Manual” or “Pressure Cook” setting and set the cook time to 5 minutes.
  5. When the cook time is complete, allow the pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
  6. Stir in the cooked bacon and serve.
