Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the milk. Fold in the peaches.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. In another bowl, mix together the brown sugar, oats, and cinnamon. Stir in the melted butter, and sprinkle over the cake batter.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
