Ingredients
- 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine the tequila, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper and mix until blended.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat in the marinade.
- Cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through and pink.
- Serve the shrimp with the marinade and garnish with fresh cilantro.
