Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound scallops, rinsed and patted dry

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the bourbon, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  3. Add the scallops to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and add the bourbon cream sauce to the skillet. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve the scallops with the bourbon cream sauce and a side of your favorite starch.
