Ingredients
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound scallops, rinsed and patted dry
Directions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the bourbon, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
- Add the scallops to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the bourbon cream sauce to the skillet. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve the scallops with the bourbon cream sauce and a side of your favorite starch.
