Ingredients

  • 4 lbs beef short ribs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tbsp flour

Directions

  1. Season the short ribs with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large Dutch oven, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Brown the short ribs on all sides, then remove and set aside.
  4. Add the onion and garlic to the pot and sauté until softened.
