Ingredients
- 1 pint of your favorite ice cream
- 1 cup of tempura batter mix
- ¼ cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of cold water
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Toppings of your choice (honey, chocolate sauce, etc.)
Directions
- Scoop the ice cream into 8 balls and place on a baking sheet. Put the baking sheet in the freezer for at least two hours.
- Mix the tempura batter mix, flour, and cold water in a bowl until it forms a light and airy batter.
- Remove the ice cream balls from the freezer. Dip each one in the batter and make sure it's completely covered.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Carefully place the battered ice cream balls in the pan and fry for about two minutes, until golden brown.
- Remove the balls from the oil and place on a plate lined with paper towels. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
