Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
- In a large bowl, stir together the cherries, flour, white sugar, butter, baking powder, and salt. Spread into the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the milk, vanilla extract, cornstarch, and water. Pour over the cherry mixture.
