Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 slices of white bread, cubed
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch round baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat together the eggs, sugar and cinnamon until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, milk, and salt until well blended.
  4. In the prepared baking dish, spread the cubed bread. Sprinkle with the chopped pecans and raisins.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, making sure to evenly coat all of the bread cubes. Drizzle the maple syrup over the top.
  6. Pour the heavy cream over the top, making sure it's evenly distributed.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
