Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 slices of white bread, cubed
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch round baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, beat together the eggs, sugar and cinnamon until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the melted butter, milk, and salt until well blended.
- In the prepared baking dish, spread the cubed bread. Sprinkle with the chopped pecans and raisins.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, making sure to evenly coat all of the bread cubes. Drizzle the maple syrup over the top.
- Pour the heavy cream over the top, making sure it's evenly distributed.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
