Ingredients
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound ground beef
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup beef broth
Directions
Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring, until softened, about 3 minutes.
Add ground beef and cook, stirring and breaking up the beef with a wooden spoon, until browned, about 6 minutes.
Add diced tomatoes, black beans, green chilies, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Add beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
Serve with your favorite toppings.
