This Raspberry Ham Glaze recipe is a delightful twist on the classic ham glaze. The combination of sweet and tangy flavors from the raspberries, honey, and mustard creates a mouthwatering glaze that will take your holiday ham to the next level. The glaze forms a beautiful sticky, caramelized crust on the ham while keeping the meat juicy and tender. Serve this delicious ham as the centerpiece of your holiday feast and watch your guests rave about this scrumptious dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (8-10 pounds) bone-in fully cooked ham

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine the raspberries, honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the raspberries break down and the sauce thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  4. Place the ham in a roasting pan and brush the raspberry glaze all over the surface of the ham, reserving some glaze for basting.
  5. Cover the ham with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  6. Remove the foil, brush the ham with additional glaze, and continue baking uncovered for another 30-45 minutes, or until the glaze is caramelized and the internal temperature of the ham reaches 140°F (60°C).
  7. Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve the ham with the remaining glaze on the side for dipping.
