Ingredients

  • 1 pound edamame in shells
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add the edamame and cook for 5 minutes. Drain the edamame and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the vegetable oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin and salt. Add the cooked edamame and mix until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the edamame on a baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees F for 5 minutes. Serve warm.
