Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Directions
- In a large skillet, cook the beef over medium-high heat until it is no longer pink.
- Add the cabbage and cook until it is tender, about 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the mixture into the skillet and bring to a boil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and 1/4 cup water until the cornstarch is dissolved.
- Add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet and stir until the sauce is thickened.
- Serve over rice.
