Ingredients
- 3 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 slices of bacon, diced
- 1/2 cup of grated cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon until it is crispy. Remove from the heat and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the butter and heat until melted. Add the onions and potatoes and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 10 minutes.
- Add the bacon back into the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for a few more minutes.
- Transfer the potato mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish and top with grated cheese.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
