Alternately add the dry ingredients and the buttermilk to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
