- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs

- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla and almond extracts.
- Alternately add the dry ingredients and the buttermilk to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
