This Spicy Pepper and Onion Stir Fry is a quick and easy weeknight meal that packs a punch of flavor. The combination of colorful bell peppers, onions, and spicy seasonings creates a perfect balance of heat and sweetness. Serve over rice or noodles for a satisfying dinner.


  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil


  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced bell peppers and onions. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until they start to soften.
  3. Add garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, red chili flakes, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  4. Continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still have a slight crispiness.
