Ingredients
1 can refried beans
1 cup salsa
1 can diced green chilies
1 cup shredded cheese
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a medium bowl, combine the refried beans, salsa, green chilies, and chili powder.
Spread the mixture in the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of the bean mixture.
Sprinkle the garlic powder over the cheese.
Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve with tortilla chips.
Interesting Facts
This spicy layered bean dip can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake.
This dip is also delicious served cold.
You can also add other ingredients such as olives, jalapenos, or diced tomatoes.
