Ingredients
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 can diced green chilies
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, combine the refried beans, salsa, green chilies, and chili powder.
- Spread the mixture in the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of the bean mixture.
- Sprinkle the garlic powder over the cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve with tortilla chips.

- This spicy layered bean dip can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake.
- This dip is also delicious served cold.
- You can also add other ingredients such as olives, jalapenos, or diced tomatoes.
