Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- 8 homemade buttermilk biscuits
Directions
- In a large bowl, marinate chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken thigh in the flour mixture, then back in the buttermilk, and again in the flour mixture. Repeat for all pieces.
