Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
- Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Drain spaghetti and toss with tomato sauce. Serve with fresh parsley.
