Ingredients
1 pound spaghetti
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
Stir in diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Drain spaghetti and toss with tomato sauce. Serve with fresh parsley.
