Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.
- Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente, according to package instructions.
- While the spaghetti is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until crisp, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside. Reserve the bacon fat in the skillet.
- When the spaghetti is done cooking, drain it and add it to the skillet with the bacon fat. Toss to coat.
- Add the beaten eggs, Parmesan cheese, and black pepper and mix until the eggs are cooked, about 2 minutes.
- Add the bacon back to the skillet and mix to combine.
- Serve immediately.
