Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.
  2. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente, according to package instructions.
  3. While the spaghetti is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until crisp, about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside. Reserve the bacon fat in the skillet.
  5. When the spaghetti is done cooking, drain it and add it to the skillet with the bacon fat. Toss to coat.
  6. Add the beaten eggs, Parmesan cheese, and black pepper and mix until the eggs are cooked, about 2 minutes.
  7. Add the bacon back to the skillet and mix to combine.
  8. Serve immediately.
