Ingredients
- 1 single-crust pie crust
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups pecan halves
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease one 9-inch pie plate with butter.
- Place the pie crust in the prepared pie plate. Flute the edges of the crust and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, vanilla, and salt.
- Stir in the pecan halves and pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the center is set and the crust is golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
