Ingredients

  • 1/2 head of cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, and onion.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, dry mustard, and celery seed. Pour over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
