Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, chilled and cubed
1 cup sour cream
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add butter and use a pastry blender or two knives to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse meal.
Stir in the sour cream until just combined.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently until it just comes together. Do not overwork the dough.
Pat or roll the dough out to 1/2-inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter. Place biscuits onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Serve warm with butter, honey, or your favorite jam.
