Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8-ounce) carton sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine 2 cups flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat 1 cup butter and granulated sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla extract. Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Beat just until blended. Stir in pecans.
