Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 can of your favorite beer
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons of smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225 degrees F.
  2. Remove the neck and giblets from the chicken.
  3. Mix together the garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper together in a bowl.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get it in all of the nooks and crannies.
  5. Open the can of beer and place the chicken on top of it, making sure the chicken is balanced and not tipping over. This will help keep the chicken moist and flavorful.
