Ingredients

  • 4 pears, cored and halved
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, cream, corn syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir to combine.
  3. Place pear halves in a 9-inch baking dish. Pour caramel mixture over the pears.
  4. Place baking dish in preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until pears are tender.
