Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 1/4 cup finely chopped carrots
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 30 round wonton wrappers
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the pork, cabbage, carrots, onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, sugar, pepper, and garlic.
- Mix together until ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean work surface.
- Put 1 tablespoon of the pork mixture in the center of each wrapper.
- Using your finger, wet the edges of the wrappers with water.
- Fold the wrappers in half to form a half-moon shape.
- Pinch the edges together to seal. If desired, you can use a fork to crimp the edges.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the pot-stickers to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.
- Add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and cover with a lid.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 8 minutes.
- Uncover the skillet and cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until the pot-stickers are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm.
