- 1 wheel of brie cheese
- 2 pears, cored and sliced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 shallots, minced
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves

- 1/2 cup honey
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the brie wheel on the baking sheet and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the pears and shallots and cook, stirring occasionally, until the pears are golden, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the brown sugar, thyme, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute more.
- Spread the caramelized pear mixture over the brie wheel and bake for 15 minutes, or until the brie is warm and the topping is bubbly.
- Drizzle the honey over the baked brie and serve warm with crackers or crostini.
