Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can hominy, drained and rinsed
- 2 (15 oz) cans diced tomatoes
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Directions
- Add the ground turkey, onion, and garlic to a large slow cooker.
- Add the hominy, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, green chiles, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir in the cilantro and serve.
