Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 ounces lo mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the lo mein noodles and cook according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the broccoli and shrimp and cook until the shrimp is pink and the broccoli is tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, sugar, and cooked lo mein noodles. Cook until heated through, about 3 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately.
