Ingredients

  • 4 hot dogs
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrot
  • Your favorite hot dog toppings (e.g. ketchup, mustard, relish, etc.)

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, cider vinegar, sugar, celery seed, salt, and pepper. Whisk until completely combined.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrot, and dressing. Mix until the slaw is evenly coated.
  3. Grill the hot dogs until cooked through. Toast the buns if desired.
  4. Assemble the slaw-dogs by placing the hot dogs in the buns and topping with the slaw and your favorite toppings.
  5. Serve immediately.
