- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter

Directions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Cut in shortening until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
- Add in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, and mix until dough forms a soft ball.
- Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead lightly.
- Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness and cut into circles.
- Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
