Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, cheese, bacon, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup and brown sugar. Spread the mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
