Ingredients

  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, scallops, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, sea salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Let the mixture marinate in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Thread the shrimp and scallops onto the wooden skewers.
  5. Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Grill the kabobs for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the seafood is cooked through.
  7. Serve the kabobs hot with your favorite sides.
