Ingredients

  • 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring often.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the wine, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes more, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the butter and stir until melted.
  6. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
