Ingredients
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 8-10 small corn or flour tortillas
Directions
- In a shallow bowl, mix together flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Dredge the shrimp in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess flour.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the shrimp in batches until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, lime juice, and cilantro.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet, about 1 minute per side.
- To assemble the tacos, place some of the shrimp in each tortilla and top with the cilantro lime sauce.
