Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground sausage
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (2-pound) package frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook sausage and onion until sausage is browned and onion is translucent.
- In a large bowl, combine sausage mixture, cheese, potatoes, cream, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Pour mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until top is golden brown and casserole is bubbly.
