Ingredients
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for kneading
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, sugar, vegetable oil, and salt. Stir until the ingredients are combined.
- Add the flour and stir until the dough is thick and sticky. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Form the dough into 12 equal-sized balls and place them on a greased baking sheet. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Bake the rolls for 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove the rolls from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
