Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Gradually blend in dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips and cocoa powder.
- Spread batter evenly in prepared pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.
- Let cool in pan before cutting into squares.
