Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Cream the butter and powdered sugar together in a bowl until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Mix in the flour, walnuts, and salt until just blended.
- Roll the dough into 1 inch balls, and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the bottoms are lightly browned.
- Remove the cookies from the oven, and roll in the powdered sugar while they are still warm.
