Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, sugar, salt, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract until combined.
  2. Add the melted butter and whisk until all of the ingredients are fully incorporated.
  3. Pour the ice cream mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
