Rum Rickey Cocktail

Ingredients

• 2 ounces rum
• 1 ounce fresh lime juice
• 1/2 ounce simple syrup
• 6 ounces sparkling water

Directions

1. In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 ounces of rum, 1 ounce of fresh lime juice, and 1/2 ounce of simple syrup.
2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake until chilled, about 10 seconds.
3. Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
4. Top with 6 ounces of sparkling water and stir.
5. Garnish with a lime wheel.
