Ingredients

  • 1 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C).
  2. Spread the sesame seeds on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer the toasted sesame seeds to a food processor and process for 1 minute.
  4. Add the olive oil, sea salt, and 1 tablespoon of water. Process for 3 minutes.
  5. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and process for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
