- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs

- 3/4 cup rose water
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla, rose water, and yogurt. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow cake to cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
