Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine raspberries, sugar, water, lemon juice and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture is thick and syrupy, about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Transfer mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Pour into a shallow glass or plastic container and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until desired consistency is reached.
- Scoop into individual dishes and serve.
